Ebony has over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry and specialises in property law. She has acted on numerous property and financial transactions including advising first home buyers, large scale property developers, agricultural and commercial clients, and clients entering rest home care. Having practised in Christchurch she is also aware of the complex insurance issues that can arise and has advised on many construction contracts for both builders and homeowners.
Working for a diverse client base has also allowed her to gain knowledge in wider personal law matters such as asset planning, trust structuring and succession planning, wills and powers of attorney. Her extensive experience has led to a natural progression into the more commercial areas of property law, including subdivisions, commercial leasing, business acquisitions, and banking and finance.
Ebony can navigate complex transactions in the best interest of her clients and offers efficient and practical advice and solutions. She is approachable and friendly, and prides herself on her attention to detail and delivering a high standard of service and advice.
When not spending time with family, Ebony enjoys curling up with a good book and her favourite pinot noir, cooking and travel.
